On March 9, the Professional BusinessWomen of California hosted a high-level think tank focused on gender equity and business attended by Bay Area senior executives. Participants networked, conversed and consulted about the next wave of policy and progress related to women in the workplace. The next day, on March 10, representatives from the Senior Leadership Participants presented the results of that discussion during the PBWC Conference Closing Power Panel: “Collaborate. Champion. Change.”
A key topic of the Senior Leadership Summit was the dangers of unconscious bias. How do subconscious attitudes affect everyday decision-making and professional environments?
Harvard’s Project Implicit designed the Implicit Assumptions assessment to reveal unconscious bias and raise awareness, and PBWC encourages you to take their short online test to gauge your own unconscious biases and catalyze personal and organizational change for the better.Take the Implicit Assumptions assessment
