Professional BusinessWomen of California loves to hear from its members. Have a success story you’d like to share or a tale of the challenges you faced getting your business off the ground?

Let others know about your triumphs or disappointments. E-mail your story to us for consideration. After all, this kind of inspirational exchange helps us learn from one another’s experience(s).

Here are seven guidelines to follow for submitting your story:

1. It may be about any topic that appeals to you — or professional women like you.
2. Write your story in the first person.
3. Create a compelling headline 5-10 words in length.
4. Your story should run approximately 1 to 2 pages (each 8 1/2" x 11") in length.
5. Limit the point size of your text to 10-12 points. Any smaller than 10 point type, makes your article uninviting to the reader’s eyes.
6. Submit your file in Word format to submit@pbwc.org. If you do not have Microsoft Word, submit the file in text format.
7. If you have a photo you’d like to submit, send it as a .jpg or .gif file.

Upon receipt of your story, PBWC’s editors will review it and get back to you regarding whether or not it’s been accepted for publication on the PBWC Web site. Thank you.
