Erica Sandberg is a nationally recognized personal finance authority and the author of Expecting Money: The Essential Financial Plan for New and Growing Families. During her tenure at Consumer Credit Counseling Service of San Francisco, she helped thousands improve their financial standing through educational seminars and acted as the agency's primary public relations spokesperson. She currently lends her expertise to Forbes, Businessweek-TV, Redbook, and MarketWatch, provides on-air commentary for Bay Area networks, and conducts personal finance classes at the Day One Parent Education Center in San Francisco. Ms. Sandberg holds a B.A. from San Francisco State University, a certificate in personal financial planning from University of California, Berkeley, and a certificate in consumer credit counseling. A member of the Society of American Business Editors and Writers, she is an advisory committee member for Project Money.
