Jade Hiramoto, M.D. is an assistant professor of surgery at UCSF. A vascular surgeon with a special interest in endovascular techniques, her other clinical interests include carotid endarterectomy, treatment of visceral arterial disease, pediatric vascular disease, and lower extremity arterial bypass procedures. Her research involves clinical and translational research, with a special interest in gender-based differences in the treatment and outcomes of vascular disease. Dr. Hiramoto earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, where she also completed an integrated fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery and interventional radiology.
