Kathleen Holmgren
Kathleen Holmgren, Principal of Sage Advice Partners, is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in the storage, computer systems, and management consulting industries. In her management consulting practice she provides proven functional and general management expertise to her client's businesses - often serving in interim executive roles. Prior to founding Sage Advice Partners, as Mendocino Software's CEO, Kathleen was responsible for the company's vision, direction and operational management. As a Sun Microsystems Senior VP/GM, Kathleen rapidly grew Sun's storage business in 3 years to a $1.5B business. Before storage, Kathleen spent 11 years in the Operations group at Sun managing and leading all aspects of worldwide logistics, plant management, materials procurement, supply planning, process engineering, and manufacturing plant design. Kathleen is currently a Director with the Alliance of Chief Executives and is the acting COO for Avatier Corporation, an identity management software company. She has a BS in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and holds her MBA from Stanford University.
