Sign-up for the WIBR team or sponsor a WIBR team member!!

Join the team and participate in either the 1-mile walk or 5k run to eradicate breast cancer OR pledge a WIBR team member. The Women in Business Roundtable committee members are coordinating team members again this year to walk/run together in the San Francisco Race for the Cure® at Sharon Meadows, Golden Gate Park. In our first Race For the Cure, WIBR team members raised over $7,000, and this year our goal is $10,000! We also have hot pink team visors for sale this year for only $5!

Kathy Jackson, Chair, WIBR Team and why she participates in Race for the Cure, "I participate in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, as three of my close friends are in the process of having chemo therapy treatments right now, after each undergoing surgery. Another dear friend has had two lumpectomies, had one bout of radiation and at the moment, is cancer free!...Breast cancer has touched people in my life who are very dear to me and luckily, so far, they have all survived!"

The Race for the Cure San Francisco raised over $1 Million in the Bay Area last year and it was distributed to agencies right here in our own neighborhoods. These are the agencies that people we know are likely to use for early detection and follow up services once they find out they have breast cancer.
