Debra Boblitt is the current President of the Professional BusinessWomen of California, and she is the Vice President-Agency for the Bay Area Market Area in State Farm's California zone. She joined State Farm in 1988 as an agent in Toledo, Ohio, was named Agency Manager there in 1992 and Agency Field Executive in 1995. She transferred to corporate headquarters in 1998 as Director of Marketing Programs in the Agency Department and was promoted to Assistant Vice President-Agency Sales in 1999.

She directs the PBWC Academic Scholarship Program.

Patricia G. Williams is the Director of the Silicon Valley Complex at Merrill Lynch, which includes the San Jose, Cupertino and Carmel offices, as well as those in Asia Pacific. She has been with Merrill Lynch for 16 years, the first 10 as a Financial Advisor in the Menlo Park office, and subsequently serving the company as Sales Manager and Resident Manager. Ms. Williams, who serves on the company's national diversity task force, received her BA from Vassar College.

Ms. Bloom was also the former Executive Director of Resourceful Women.

Jackie Speier was elected to the 8th Senate District in 1998 with more than 79 percent of the vote. The chair of the Senate Insurance Committee, she also sits on the committees of Appropriations, Energy, Utilities and Communications, and Transportation; the Select Committee on Bay Area Transportation; an the Joint Legislative Audit Committee. Senator Speier earned a BA from the University of California Davis and a law degree from the University of California Hastings College of the Law.

Ruth Stergiou is the founding Executive Director of PBWC and Principal of Planning Dynamics, Inc., the event production company that specializes in producing educational events for women. She produces the California Governor's Conference on Women and Families, which attracts 10,000 attendees annually and is America's largest conference for businesswomen. A faculty member in the San Jose State University Professional Development Center. Ms. Stergiou is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Anita Borg Institute of Women in Technology.
