The application packet must be submitted via e-mail with all documents attached by April 14, 2006.

The Professional BusinessWomen of California (PBWC) is pleased to announce our 17th Annual Conference, which will take place on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the San Francisco Moscone Convention Center. This year's conference, entitled "The Power of Connection", provides a forum for advancing the professional and personal development of Bay Area women through tools, resources, training and true inspiration. It is the largest women's conference of its kind in the area, with last year's attendees totaling over 5,000 women. In addition, the PBWC Young Women's Program attendees interact with successful female leaders and are challenged to achieve their own future career goals.

As part of the conference, PBWC Scholarships will be awarded to four California women. One $5,000 academic scholarship will be awarded in each of the following categories:


A) Reentry Working Woman
B) Female High School Senior
C) Female Entrepreneur or Technologist
D) Female International Student moving to a Four Year University

The scholarship award must be applied to a related undergraduate academic or work program in an accredited California institution and will be mailed directly by the PBWC to the designated institution. Scholarship winners must be present on May 2nd at the San Francisco Moscone Convention Center in order to receive the award. An additional conference ticket will be provided to each winner for one guest. All completed applications and supporting documentation must be submitted electronically and received by Friday, April 14th. Scholarship winners will be notified by April 24, 2006.
