Kay Koplovitz

 

Kay Koplovitz is CEO of Koplovitz & Company, LLC, a media firm founded in 1998 for the purpose of investing in high growth, new media companies, including Broadway Television Network, WiseBear.com, Working Woman Network and Casbah. Ms. Koplovitz is also Founder of USA Network, and the first female network president in television history. Under her direction as Chairman and CEO from 1977 to 1998, USA Network developed into the largest provider of original programming among basic cable networks.

Kay Koplovitz was recently appointed by President Clinton to Chair the National Women's Business Council. She is honored with awards including the Anti-Defamation League's Champion of Liberty award for her creation of the "Erase the Hate" initiative, and the Women in Film's "Lucy Award" for Innovation in Television for her outstanding contributions and excellence to the television industry.
