Deborah Affonsa

Deb Affonsa’s areas of responsibility include the company’s contact center operations, local customer service offices, account management, relations with third-party energy service providers, and customer education. Her previous role at Pacific Gas and Electric Company was vice president, Corporate Strategy, where she was responsible for driving development and implementation of an integrated five-year forward-looking plan.

Deb has been very active in PG&E’s Women’s Network Employee Resource Group and has demonstrated her personal commitment through her participation in a number of employee events and dedication to advancing women’s issues. She has spoken on several panels on career and leadership development. She is an active advocate, sponsor and mentor for many women in the company.

Win Chang

With over 21 years at Oracle, Win Chan is a support account director in Oracle’s Customer Services Organization. As support account director for Kaiser Permanente, Win aligns Kaiser’s business objectives with Oracle‘s products, services and best practices. Win was awarded Oracle’s 2010 and 2011 Customer Services Pacesetter Awards, 2011 and 2013 President’s Cup Awards, and 2014 CEO’s Cup Award, and was the recipient of the 2014 Silicon Valley YWCA TWIN Award.

Win is creating an Oracle legacy through her commitment to advancing Oracle Women’s Leadership (OWL), mentoring the next generation of Oracle women leaders, driving community outreach programs such as the 2014 OWL Bay Area Dress for Success Clothing Drive, and serving on the board of directors for the Breast Cancer Emergency Fund.

Laura Guio

In her current role, Laura Guio is responsible for the storage portfolio investment and business worldwide. Storage is one of the fastest-growing technologies at IBM. Throughout her 25-year career at IBM, she has held several executive positions in key growth areas.

From 2009 to 2012, Laura ran the storage growth markets unit, covering 149 countries based out of China. For three consecutive years, the business saw double-digit growth. Laura is also the first female executive to take on the role as IBM’s senior state executive representing California.

Amita Joshi

Amita Joshi is a pharmaceutical and biotechnology leader recognized amongst her peers for her knowledge and contributions to pharmacology. She has served on the leadership committees of several scientific organizations, and in 2010 she chaired the conference programming committee for the National Biotechnology Conference of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists.

Amita’s leadership, commitment, dedication to the pipeline at Genentech, and her excellence in leading
a world-class organization, attention to talent development, and focus on diversity have been exemplary. Amita is also a core team member of the Genentech Women in Science and Engineering (gWISE). She has an eye for talent and mentors and sponsors other talented scientists in the organization by providing opportunities, support- ing, mentoring, and advocating for them.

Janet Liang

Janet Liang has direct oversight of the region’s 21 hospitals and campuses, as well as regional functions including Human Resources, Continuum of Care, Quality and Regulatory Services, and Information Technology. Janet was appointed chief operating officer in June 2014.

One of Janet’s initiatives is to launch an emerging leaders program focused on the younger subset of employees wanting a career in leadership. She is also partnering with universities to offer doctoral programs for nursing leadership and research. Janet is an executive sponsor of KP’s Leadership Diversity Development Program, and KP’s Asian American business resource group. She has been awarded Puget Sound Business Magazine’s “40 under 40” award and is one of 30 “Working Mothers” nationally honored by Working Mother Magazine.

Wesley Lohec

Wesley E. (Wes) Lohec is responsible for leading Health, Environment and Safety strategic planning and issues management, compliance assurance, and emergency response. He also is responsible for Chevron’s Environmental Management Company, which manages environmental remediation and abandonment liabilities.

Previously, Lohec served as managing director of the Latin America strategic business unit from 2008 to 2011 for Chevron Africa and Latin America Exploration and Production Company in Caracas, Venezuela, and was responsible for business in the region.

Lohec is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and is a registered professional engineer in the state
of Texas. Lohec joined Chevron in 1981 as a drilling engineer. He earned a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University in 1981.

Laura Ortman

Laura Ortman is VP vCloud Air Client Experience and is responsible for global client on-boarding, support services, technical support, and renewals. Laura serves on the VMwomen Leadership Council as the representative of the Global Services organization.

Laura is a VMware executive whose strategic vision and extraordinary execution has accelerated the progress of the VMwomen initiative across the company. As the Global Services VMwomen leader, she has spearheaded cutting-edge global and cross-functional programs.

Jennifer Robinson

Jennifer Robinson is an executive board member of Arizona Women’s Leadership. She increases awareness of the Schwab brand and share of wallet with women. She is responsible for hosting events that raise awareness of education for girls and leads women and investing initiatives for the Southwest region. She is also the national lead for Go Red Day and International Girls’ Day.

Jennifer has done a superb job with diversity leadership growth. She is the regional chair for the Southwest region. She has done wonders for female literacy within Schwab and externally. She recently earned Starwood Resorts’ trust and also does a yearly Arizona Women’s Forum. She has done several outreaches for women that were all successful. Jennifer is a driver and a mover for women.

Roli Saxena

Roli Saxena is passionate about building businesses, helping teams transform their careers and lives, and building an inclusive culture where all employees thrive authentically! Inspired by her father, she believes that with hard work and passion one can achieve her dreams and aspirations.

Roli led a team of really passionate women leaders at LinkedIn to build the LinkedIn Women Initiative (Win) with a mission to build a world-class Global Sales Organization with diverse perspectives from highly qualified women in senior leadership roles. The program focused on building a culture of inclusion, investing in talented women at LinkedIn and developing a strong brand presence for hiring top women talent in the industry.

Roli graduated with an M.S. in management from Stanford Business School and lives in Mountain View with her husband and two teenage children.

Cathy Sidwell

In her nine years at Microsoft, Cathy Sidwell has worked in both the NorCal and SoCal Enterprise Sales teams, holding roles as an account manager, sales team manager, and now as the director of the strategic technical team.

Cathy has been a champion for women in all her roles by encouraging professional development, advocating for female leaders, and setting a stellar example in the way she handles herself as a manager and mentor.

Caroline Tsay

Caroline Tsay is currently vice president and general manager of online business at HP Software, where her focus is to attract and grow a new enterprise customer base, deliver revenue and profitability, and modernize HP Software’s business, marketing, and sales models. She joined Hewlett-Packard in March 2013 and built her entire organization with new talent across the product, design, engineering, marketing, sales, operations, support, and analytics functions from companies like Yahoo, Adobe, IBM, Salesforce, and Atlassian.

Caroline is a role model for others in the company. She mentors women (both junior and senior), regularly com- municates the value of diversity, and sponsors diversity development efforts for her organization.

Kelly Thompson

Kelly Thompson joined Walmart in 2007 as vice president of Merchandising, Home, Apparel, and Baby for Walmart.com. She was promoted in 2008 and assumed additional responsibility for all categories of Walmart.com merchandising, as well as merchandise planning and pricing. She was then promoted to senior vice president in October of 2012 and added marketplace to her responsibilities.

Kelly is passionate about diversity and serves as one of the five executive sponsors for the Global eCommerce Women’s Resource Council.

Prior to joining Walmart.com, Kelly spent 10 years at Gap, Inc. in various merchandising roles and three years at Nordstrom in sales and management.

Mary Willner

Mary Willner is responsible for software ingredient development, software infrastructure, and system-level validation across multiple operating systems, including Android, Chrome, Linux, and Windows. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education and a master’s degree in management science, both from the University of Miami. She is an active member of the Intel Hispanic Leadership Council and co-chair of the Women’s Principal Engineer & Fellows Forum.

Mary is an influential leader, strong diversity champion, and executive sponsor for her organization. Mary is
a huge advocate for sponsorship and believes strongly in mentoring Intel protégés. Mary coaches employees to help them find work/life solutions. Mary is an Intel Rock Star and we are proud she represents Intel as our industry leader.

KC Wu

KC Wu leads Cisco Value Chain IT, which connects people, processes, policies, and systems to deliver business capabilities from Quote to Order, Supply Chain Logistics, Financial, and Employee Services. Her team also manages Enterprise Data Services to deliver business insight.

KC is an active supporter of female talent through her executive sponsorship of several women’s and diversity forums including the recently formed Cisco Men for Inclusion community. She actively mentors women in her community, encouraging professional growth and STEM participation.
