Shirley received a B.S. Degree in Business Management from Hampton University, a MBA Degree from Illinois State University, and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Empire College School of Law. She earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1984, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1987, and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 1989.

Shirley is a philanthropist who has served in a variety of leadership roles within the community. She is Co-Chair of the Scholarship and Board Development Committees of the Professional BusinessWomen of California (PBWC), a member of the Bakersfield Chapter of Links, Inc. and member of the Board of Directors for the Bakersfield Museum of Art.

She is also a director for the Bridge to the Future – Rites of Passage Mentoring Program in Santa Rosa, a Steward at Cain AME Memorial Church, and a life member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority – Kappa Omega Omega Alumni Chapter and the NAACP.

Under her leadership, Kaiser Oakland has been named as Health Grades America’s 100 Best Hospitals, one of the Top 25 Hospitals in the nation for Pediatric Care by Money Magazine and the LeapFrog group, and numerous other national accolades for primary care, specialty, and surgical excellence.

Dr. Rita Ng graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University. She completed medical school and Internal Medicine residency at UCSF and served as Chief Cardiology Fellow at Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute. Dr. Ng further received the distinction of being named Miss California and was 2nd runner-up at the Miss America Pageant in 2001 and the first Asian-American Miss California in the 80-year history of the pageant. As chairwoman for many philanthropic organizations and concert pianist, Dr. Ng has traveled extensively around the nation and world giving keynote addresses and concerts, raising millions of dollars for causes around the nation and world. She was recognized by the San Francisco Business Times’ Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business and named as the American College of Cardiology California Chapter “Cardiologist of the Year.”

A 27-year Microsoft veteran, Katy has a proven track record of driving growth through strategic initiatives and sales programs. Prior to her current role, she served as Corporate Vice President for the US Software and Digital Platforms OU, Vice President for the West Region, and Vice President for the Northwest Region. She has also led as General Manager for the NorCal District and spearheaded Microsoft’s US National Sales Excellence, where she drove innovation in sales enablement, customer satisfaction, and strategic planning. Her leadership across multiple regions and functions has earned her numerous awards for sales achievement, management, and leadership.

Before joining Microsoft, Katy spent more than a decade at IBM and Lotus Development Corporation. She is deeply involved in her community, serving as past Board Chair and President of the Professional Businesswomen of California (PBWC) and as a board member of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and WinWire Technologies.

A native of San Francisco, Katy has a B.S. in managerial economics from the University of California, Davis. Her executive education includes IBM Advanced Business Institute and advanced leadership courses at Microsoft. Katy has three daughters, Sarah, Molly, and Emily, and enjoys running and yoga in her spare time.

Julia believes a true leader connects with, inspires, and unites people while meeting or exceeding organizational goals. She is passionate about encouraging more women, especially women from under-represented cultures, to realize their personal and professional aspirations. Julia received her BS from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, China, and her MD from University of Padova, Italy.

Gizelle was named FWN (Filipina Women’s Network) 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World in recognition of contributions to Charles Schwab and PBWC (Professional Business Women in California) in 2017. She received 2013 PBWC Industry Leader award for her work to bring financial literacy to the youth and to uplift young women. In 1999, she received the Charles Schwab Best Business Partner of the Year award for her work in automating Corporate Actions Operations.

Gizelle received her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management Engineering minoring in Chemical Engineering from De La Salle University in the Philippines. She is a Board of Director for PBWC and Co-Chair of their Scholarship Committee.

Jackie has represented the residents of the San Mateo County for over 40 years on all levels of government, starting on the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors in 1981, followed by her service in the California Assembly and Senate for 18 years, and in the U.S. Congress for almost 15 years. During her career she has taken on some of the most difficult and controversial problems, and she has done so with tenacity and courage. She was named one of the 150 most fearless women in the world by Newsweek, one of the 50 most influential members in the U.S. House by Politico magazine for her work on the #MeTooCongress movement, and she received the UCSF medal for her 40-year commitment to public service. Her long list of legislative achievements includes laws on sexual assault prevention in the military and college campuses, suicide prevention, enforcement of child support orders, child abuse prevention, and financial privacy. Families have benefited from her work in areas such as pediatric cancer research, kids plate legislation, child safety laws, and the creation of the breast cancer postage stamp to fund breast cancer research. During her time in the legislature, Democratic and Republican Governors signed more than 300 of her bills into law. Jackie also created the Professional and Business Women’s Conference (PBWC) 35 years ago and it has become one of the largest in the nation and has inspired and empowered tens of thousands of women.

Jackie is the mother of two children, proud grandmother of a granddaughter, and a best-selling author of two books. She resides in Hillsborough, California with her husband Barry and their dog Emma.
