Charlotte Rosario is an incoming Stanford University student planning to study computer science and public health. After losing her father to suicide, she turned grief into action—founding a statewide photography-for-philanthropy initiative, co-chairing her county’s Behavioral Health Commission Youth Action Board, and building SearchMentalHealth.com, an AI-powered platform connecting thousands to care. Her work has been featured by CBS, ABC, PEOPLE Magazine, and The Drew Barrymore Show and recognized by the US Government’s Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and UNICEF USA. Charlotte aspires to lead a global innovation lab that builds equitable, evidence-based mental health technologies for underserved communities worldwide.

Angela Yining Jia is an incoming student at Barnard College of Columbia University, majoring in Political Science with an intent on going to law school. She is deeply passionate about women’s rights, particularly justice for abuse victims and survivors of gender-based violence. Angela plans to pursue impact litigation at a public interest private law firm in order to affect societal change through the courts, and write model legislation for interest groups that lobby for equitable reforms. As a voracious reader, she is always hunting for new recommendations (despite her growing TBR list) and loves collecting vintage books from the 70s-80s.

With a passion for creating meaningful impact beyond her own community, she enjoys spending time actively partaking in events both within her school and community. When she’s not in the lab or classroom, Anusha spends time at the beach and playing tennis.

Over the past few years, Mackenzie has worked to uplift and support women in STEM through her leadership in Girls Who Code and FIRST Robotics. These experiences, alongside her coursework in engineering and computer science, sparked an interest in using technology to promote accessibility. As an incoming Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EECS) major at the University of California, Berkeley, she’s excited to explore how robotics can be used to improve lives. In particular, she hopes to develop Socially Assistive Robots (SARs) that can support individuals with disabilities such as ADHD and Autism.

This fall, Tiffany will start her first semester of undergraduate studies at Harvard College, where she plans on studying Physics, Engineering, and Global Health. Throughout high school, she was an active member of cultural affinity groups on campus and community service organizations in the greater Los Angeles area, so she is eager to engage with her future college community. After Harvard, she hopes to combine her interests in an impactful career, becoming Surgeon General of California and/or innovating human-centered solutions to expand accessible healthcare.
