21 Dec Happy Holidays from PBWC
Dearest PBWC Community,
Happy Winter Solstice!
The winter solstice brings the promise of light; this year, more than ever, that promise and hope for better days to come is on everyone’s mind.
This also is a time for reflection and giving thanks for all of the wonderful gifts and lessons 2020 has brought us. For me, this includes being forced to slow down my busy life; the gift of more time at home with my family; to “hit the reset button” on what our future looks like, including a positive impact on the environment. Additionally, 2020 has given me the gift of never again taking for granted the simple pleasures in life, such as coming and going, travel, being with friends and a simple hug. For these things I am grateful.
But, I am also truly grateful for each and every one of you that make up our PBWC Community. With your support, PBWC thrived this year as we produced our first-ever virtual annual conference with over 6,000 attendees—a conference which continues to be celebrated. We pivoted and provided support to you all through webinars and the like on current challenges being faced, with many working from home with young children. And last but not least, PBWC was blessed with the gift of one of our Board members stepping into the role of PBWC’s CEO. Together, we achieved these goals, plus many more.
We know times are still challenging but we are here to support, to help you get through these difficult times and to propel you to be your very best. Here’s to looking to our future, and to the light!
Warmest wishes for a safe and happy holiday, and for a bright future!
