Creating a SAFE Space for Diversity with SAY Yang

June 8, 2021 - 4:00 PM Pacific Time

Tuesday, June 8th at 4:00 PM Pacific Time

According to a comprehensive Cloverpop study, the key to success is collaborating in diverse teams that embrace many perspectives. But diversity alone will not unlock maximum performance. We need to hold space for all perspectives—a S.A.F.E. space to: Share Acceptance, Fairness, and Empathy.

Diverse teams are proven to be more productive, efficient, and innovative. In this webinar, you will learn:

  • Why diversity is key to success because great minds don’t think alike
  • How you can create a S.A.F.E. space
  • What embracing your own uniqueness means for diversity

This webinar will be recorded.

Speaker Information

SAY Yang is an engaging speaker on creativity, diversity, and storytelling. They’ve delivered talks to global audiences at Grace Hopper Celebration, Cisco, Oracle, Lesbians Who Tech, and Women Who Code. SAY lives in Oakland, California and loves drumming, karaoke, and performing standup comedy.

SAY has been their nickname since 2009. They are the initials for their full name, Sarah Allis Yang (which is why it’s all capital letters). It’s also reflective of their nature of always having something to SAY, and hopefully helpful insights at that.
