HP Inc. has released its second annual Work Relationship Index (WRI), a comprehensive study examining the world’s relationship with work.

 

PBWC invites you to a free town hall with HP’s Head of Thought Leadership, Jaci Kline, and Thought Leadership’s Strategy Lead, Emily Kwalek, who will share insights from the survey of 15,600 respondents across 12 countries. Key findings from the study include:

 

  • Only 28% of knowledge workers have a healthy relationship with work, a slight improvement from 2023
  • AI adoption among knowledge workers has surged to 66% in 2024, with AI users being 11 points happier with their work relationship than non-users
  • Over two-thirds of knowledge workers want personalized work experiences, and 87% would be willing to forgo part of their salary to get it
  • Only 44% of leaders feel confident in their human skills, with female leaders showing notably higher confidence in their skills compared to their male counterparts

Jaci Kline headshotJaclyn Kline has worked in Communications her entire career, focusing on strategy & program management. She is currently Head of Thought Leadership in Corporate Affairs at HP – driving success for HP’s Work Relationship Index. In her role, she focuses on the strategy and execution behind the largest global survey measuring people’s happiness at work as well as positioning HP as a thought leader in the technology industry on emerging topics.

 

Prior to joining HP, Jaclyn held roles at Cisco in their Global Communications & Sales organizations as well as at Dell Technologies in their Global Communications organization. She holds a degree in Applied Analytics, Marketing & Psychology from Bryant University, and lives in Plymouth, MA with her fiancé and dog.

 

Emily Kwalek | Strategic Program Manager, Corporate Affairs, HP

 

Emily Kwalek headshotEmily has made her mark in the tech industry very early in her career by leveraging her strong foundation in Marketing and communications to manage key initiatives at leading tech companies. She currently works as a Strategic Program manager on HP’s Corporate Affairs Thought Leadership team. Emily’s diverse expertise in spearheading large scale global campaigns and developing strategic initiatives helps to transform and develop the Work Relationship Index.

 

Prior to joining HP, Emily worked at Cisco in the Security Business Group, managing Global Intent and Review Sites. She holds a degree in Marketing, Communications & Management from Bryant University and is currently pursuing her MBA at Florida Gulf Coast University. Emily is from CT but now lives in Tampa, FL alongside her cat, Mocha.
